Delete your account

You can request deletion of your Study Past Papers account and all data associated with it. We process every request manually within 30 days and confirm by email within 7 days.

How to request deletion

1. Enter the mobile number that's on your account in the form below (in international format, e.g. +27821234567).
2. Optionally provide a contact email — we'll use it to confirm the request and let you know once deletion is complete.
3. Click Request deletion. You'll see a confirmation on this page.
4. Within 7 days you'll receive an email from support@studypastpapers.com confirming receipt and a final email when deletion is complete (within 30 days of the request).

What gets deleted

• Your profile (name, surname, grade, language, subject preferences)
• Your mobile number — the unique account identifier
• Authentication tokens and session records
• Chat sessions and messages (when chat is available)
• Quiz history and scores (when quizzes are available)
• Any content reports you've submitted

What we keep

• Aggregated, anonymous analytics — counts of pageviews and downloads with no personal identifiers. Your usage is no longer attributable to you.
• Backup snapshots — automated daily backups may still contain your data for up to 30 days after deletion. They are overwritten on the normal backup-retention cycle and are never used to restore deleted accounts.
• Legal records — if law requires us to retain a record (e.g. for a fraud investigation), we keep only the minimum needed and email you to explain.

You can also email support@studypastpapers.com from the address registered on your account, or clear your local profile from inside the app at Profile → Clear all data (this only wipes the copy on your device — you still need to submit this form to remove your account from our servers).
